Falcon Cove at Art Basel

Each student made their own Day of the Dead skull made out of paper-maché and the best were selected to be displayed in the art gallery. The reception event took place on December 5, 2019, in Miami.

“It was a challenging project, I had trouble since the paper-maché wouldn’t stick to the clay base,” said Claudia Sprague, one of the students selected to have their skull featured in the gallery.

Some students had unique skulls that were inspired by things that were important to them.

“ I wanted mine to be different than the rest,” said Camila Rodriguez.

Each skull was made through hard work and effort, all of the students worked very hard on their projects and the school appreciates all of their hard work.
