Disney+ Review
November 19, 2019
Disney+ has taken the world by storm! With new shows and movies, it’s shown to be hyped and successful following its launch. On the launch date, so many people purchased and used the site, that it crashed. Many people are sharing their voice about this app on social media which is giving it a lot of publicity.
Disney+ was released on November 12th, 2019. Disney+ is $6.99 a month and $69.99 a year. There is a bundle where you pay $12.99 a month and you get ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu. This could be harmful to Disney+’s competitors such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube Premium. Because the prices are cheaper, and you get more things for less money.
Disney+ has classic Disney movies such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan and many more. They also have your favorite childhood shows such as Wizards of Waverly Place, Gravity Falls, Shake It Up, Phineas and Ferb as well as many others. They don’t only have Disney movies and shows, they have movies and shows from, Marvel, National Geographic as well as 21st Century Fox programs like The Simpsons.
There are many pros and cons to purchasing Disney+. Some of the pros are you get a variety of different movies and shows for a lot cheaper price. You get a lot of your favorite shows and movies from when you were growing up and a lot of new shows and movies as well. The con includes how large the platform was causing the website to crash when first available for purchase. The program also doesn’t have a “continue watching” tab so it’s difficult to go back to a show you were watching.
Disney+ is a lot like Netflix and Hulu but mostly for Disney’s productions. It allows you to search through the wide selection of Disney shows and movies to find the perfect show you were looking for just like Netflix.
The reputation of the brand would probably go up due to the popularity of the service. The service has gotten so popular because of the number of tv shows ranging for every age. Disney already has a good reputation and creating a new hit will bring them up to a new level of popularity. Even just the service including the name Disney will make it a hit.
I’ve had a very positive experience with the app and it’s very addictive. It allows me to watch my favorite shows and movies anytime, anywhere. It’s easy to access with their app and website and, through pretty much any video game console.
In summary, Disney+ is a great streaming service with its cheaper prices, great content and there’s something for all ages. Overall if you decide on getting it you won’t be upset with your purchase and you’ll wind up on it for hours.
